About Corina Stupu Thomas
My life as an artist started as a self healing journey in a small flat in Bucharest, Romania. It has become a beautiful friendship, a friendship with my brushes, my paints, my canvasses, my paper and the oh so many bits and pieces that have found their way into my images. Having grown up under a harsh communist regime, where there were rules for everything, art released in me a strong need to break free, to avoid conforming to anyone else's way of doing things.
